Facebook 'killed' the blogspot?

With all the possible internet communities and chats where you keep in contact with people, you just get too lazy to keep your blogs. I still see advantages for blogs, for example one can write texts as big as one wishes, but I have to admit that lately I have been also too lazy for all these internet possibilities.
